How to reset oil service light Fiat Ducato III.

Reset oil service light Fiat Ducato 3. From year: 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2001, 2012, 2013, 2014.

Engine oil level gauge.

This gauge shows the engine oil level.

Versions with digital display.

Turning the ignition key to MAR, the display will show the engine oil amount by displaying five symbols.

Partial gradual turning off of the symbols indicates oil decrease.

If the oil level falls below the preset limit (topping up is therefore required), the five dashes will start flashing on the display.

The oil level is correct when 4 or 5 symbols are turned on. If the fifth symbol does not turn on, it shall not be considered as a failure or low oil level in the sump.

IMPORTANT Proper engine oil level shall however be checked by means of the dipstick (see paragraph “Checking levels” in section “Vehicle maintenance”).

Few seconds after, engine oil amount symbols will disappear from the display, and:

  • if scheduled servicing interval is near to come, the display will show the distance to cover and the instrument panel warning light Reset key service Fiat Ducato third generation will turn on. When reaching the scheduled servicing interval the display will show some dashes.
  • then, if engine oil change interval is near to come, the display will show on the top of the screen the distance to cover to next oil change together with message “OIL” displayed on the bottom of the screen. When reaching the scheduled servicing interval the display will show five dashes.

Versions with multifunction display.

Turning the ignition key to MARthe display will show the oil level by the turning on/off of five symbols.

  1. Enter the key in the ignition and turn it until the lights on the dashboard go on, one position befor you start the car.
  2. The rear light failure indicator light cannot be removed by pressing CLEAR button.
  3. To reset the light push the brake pedal to clear.

Press CLR once to acknowledge a message, hereupon it will be cleared from the display. It will not be displayed again before the ignition has been switched off and then on again.

  1. Turn ignition to ON position, do not start the engine.
  2. The fog light warning light message cannot be removed by pressing CLEAR button.

  2. Press and hold trip odometer button.
  3. Turn on the ignition.
  4. Keep trip odometer button button pressed for at least 15 seconds longer until the service interval indicator changes.
  5. After approximately 15 seconds the display on the instrument cluster displays the symbol with the maximum mileage (km) and InSP for 2 seconds.
  6. After a successful reset, the message “- – – -” appears in the display until the actuating knob is released.
  7. Then the distance travelled or the time display appears again.

Reset service light indicator Renault Safrane. It was built in years: 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000.

1. The reset button is located on the bottom right hand side of the Rev counter on the instrument cluster.
2. Turn ON the ignition, do not start the vehicle.
3. Push reset button until Spanner warning light symbol will start flash.
4. Keep button depressed until Spanner warning light symbol stops flashing and remains illuminated.
5. Indicator shows appropriate service interval.
6. Release reset button.
7. Turn OFF the ignition and then start your Renault Sfrane to see if spanner warning light has been reset.

Note. Some vehicles are fitted with a SERV lamp, this is not a service interval indicator lamp, it is a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL).
