Manual Reset:

1. Turn key in steering lock to position 2.

5. Continue to hold button (1) for approximately 10 seconds until a signal sounds and the display shows 10 000 mils or 15 000km. Release button (1).
6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2000-2001

4. Release button.

6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2002-2004
1. Switch ignition on and immediately press knob to left of speedometer twice within 1 second.
2. Present status for days or distance is now displayed. Within 10 seconds
3. Press and hold button to the left of speedometer
4. Release button.
5. Service interval displays the reset interval.
6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2005-2009
1. Turn the ignition to position 1.
2. Press the system selection button (3 located on the lower left of the steering wheel) repeatedly until the kilometer reading is shown in the multi information display.)
3. Press the cluster illumination button (lower left of instrument panel) quickly 3 times. The battery voltage will be displayed.
4. Press the up or down buttons until the service menu appears.
5. Use the +/- buttons to select menu oprion “”CONFIRM””.”
6. Press the system selection button uuntil “”COMPLETE SERVICE”” is selected.”
7. Confirm “”Complete Service”” with system selection button. The display will show “”SERVICE CONFIRMED””.”
8. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2010-2012
1. Turn the ignition to position 1. (close all doors
2. Press the scroll forward button (bottom button on left side of steering wheel controls) to display mileage counter.
3. Press the system selection button (left button on left side of steering wheel controls) repeatedly until the menu item “”trip”” with highlighter is displayed. “”Trip”” remains selected for 5 seconds so move quickly to step 4.”
4. Press and hold accept/end phone button and within 1 second press and hold the button in the center of the arrows (left side of steering wheel). In 5 seconds the Workshop menu will be displayed “”Vehicle data
5. Use scroll forward or backward to highlight “”ASSYST PLUS”” and confirm selection using the button in the center of the arrows. “”Service data”” and “”Full service”” appear in the display.”
6. Use scroll forward or backward to select “”Full service”” and confirm selection with the button in the center of the arrows. The display will show “”Service 1
7. Use scroll forward or backward to select “”Confirm serv”” and confirm selection with the button in the center of the arrows.”
8. Use scroll forward or backward to select engine oil specification used. “”Oil qual. 229.3″” and “”Oil qual. 229.5″” are displayed. Confirm selection with center button. The display shows “”Serv conducted?”””
9. Use scroll forward or backward to select “”Yes”” and confirm with center button. Display will show “”Take-back not possible
10. Use scroll forward or backward until “”Configuration”” is highlighted and confirm selection with button in center of the arrows. “”Full service carried out”” appears in the display.”
11. Use scroll forward and backward to exit menu.
12. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

RESET SERVICE LIGHT SKODA OCTAVIA 2

1. Switch off the ignition and press the reset knob of the trip counter below the speedometer and hold.

2. Switch on the ignition and release the reset button, one of the service events appear in the display.

3. It is possible to switch between the the readouts of the service events by briefly pressing the reset button.

4. When the particular service event is displayed, turn the button for setting the digital clock to the right, service appears in the display.
